Philadelphia bar food at it's best. The sign says Nick's Cafe, but everyone knows it as Nick's Roast Beef. The Roast Beef sandwich is a classic. Hand carved to order, sopped in natural juices, on a bun that is also dipped in the au jus. I get the combo, with a slice of provolone.
The rest of the menu follows suit. Ham Sandwich or Ham Combo carved from a baked ham and Roast Pork or Pork Combo, carved from a pork roast.
A sandwich or two chased by a schooner of Rolling Rock. Best downed at the bar, watching whatever game happens to be on the TV.
