MODERN DINER

36 East Avenue
Pawtucket RI

Daily for Breakfast and Lunch

Diners were invented in Pawtucket in the late 1800's.  The Modern Diner dates back to the 30's.  It's the first diner to be listed in the National Register for Historic Places.

It's considered the place to go for breakfast.  That's homemade corned beef hash with a couple of poached eggs.  Lines are long on weekends, the service is kinda way slow.  But the cooking is good and the diner itself makes it a must-stop place.
