The restaurant columnist at Charleston's alternative paper pointed me to the Hominy Grill for breakfast. "Best sausage in town." Guy knows his sausages.
Just did a basic down home breakfast. Sausage patties, eggs over easy, grits and a biscuit. Great breakfast.
Other choices included shrimp with scallion, mushroom and bacon over cheese grits and country ham and biscuits with mushroom gravy. Fresh baked banana or ginger pumpkin bread too.
