​No phrases to memorize before ordering a cheese steak here.  They come one way - with American cheese and fried onions.  Only question, "Large?"  They toast the rolls here.  Most places don't.  Toasted is good.

I washed it down with a chocolate milk shake with fresh banana mushed in.  A first for me; they start with fresh milk that's semi-frozen until it gets lumpy.  They say it makes a better shake.  Not sure why that's the case, but it does make a great shake.

Note: In 2013 the owner changed the name from Chink's Steaks to Joe's Steaks and Soda Shop.
