Went there for the catfish. Fried spicy hot or regular. Whole fish, steaks of fillets. Whole fish means head on, bone in. Steaks, no head bone in. Fillets, which I lazily ordered, no head, no bone. Catfish comes with hush puppies, fresh cut french fries, mayonnaise or vinegar cole slaw and white beans.

Coming back for the fried quail. Tuesday and Wednesday, all you can eat quail for $9.95. Served with mashed potatoes, biscuits and gravy. The nice waitress gave me a side of quail to taste. Packed with flavor.

Back to the catfish - it comes either as a half order or for about $3 more, all you can eat. What's neat, if you get the half order, as I did above, and want more, they switch you to the all you can eat. No paperwork, no pre-approval. Not even a tsk, tsk for not getting it right the first time.
