There are too many variations on "barbeque" to claim that Allen & Son serves the best there is. I'll just say that if my last meal were barbecue I would be happy if it came from Allen and Son. Moist, great flavor just the right amount of "browns", it is a must try for anyone who covets great barbecue.
Also had some stew (Brunswick stew) and barbecue combination with coleslaw and hushpuppies. Followed it with homemade peach cobbler. My waitress insisted I have it with their homemade vanilla ice cream. She was right.

Allen & Son's Barbeque Sauce, a bit spicier
than most Carolina sauces.
