Snook Haven is
located in a cypress swamp on the Myakka River about a
mile down a dirt road off the highway. As old
Florida as it gets. Outdoor dining with a boat
ramp running though it.
They're most famous
for their key lime pie. Won all sorts of awards.
Also their fried grouper sandwich. Good quarter
pound chili dog, too.
Service is slow
enough to send even Jimmy Buffett up the wall. But
some how you really don't care all that much.
A great stop for
those driving Florida's Gulf Coast.
