They
invented the Spiedie, one of the greater bar foods known
to man. Chunks of meat, marinated, skewered, broiled
and served on a thick slab of white bread. Grab the
bread, folding it around the meat, pull out the skewer,
and eat it down chased by a glass of Genny. A
bunch of good eating here. I followed the Spiedie
with a plate of holupki (stuffed cabbage) and pierogies.
And a glass of Genny. They're
also kind of famous for their steamed clams.
