Not
just a barbecue restaurant - a barbecue complex. One
large building for the buffet, another for take-out and
drive through. Vinegary,
Eastern Carolina style, barbecue, fried chicken even
better than the barbecue, served with boiled potatoes (a
surprisingly appropriate accompaniment), stew, cabbage,
cole slaw and not-so-great corn sticks. Then again
I've only had corn sticks in Wilson, and none were
impressive. Maybe I don't know corn sticks.
